It's happened! Sun and green leaves, I mean. That last post I wrote, and just published! ... what a metaphor for the political climate we live in. We stand on the shoulders of our relatives, who knew a LOT about job scarcity, employer greed (along with sad working conditions) and jealousy of immigrants who, themselves facing corporate greed, came in droves to find some kind of sustenance. It became a weird "we were here 1st" game, as workers turned on one another, until they got smart! Then they unionized _ i n t e r - n a t i o n a l l y. Cool: UWW-time! And we need that kind of smart thinking again: "All for one; and one for all!" There is strength in numbers and power in organization! I.E. In Seattle, we just celebrated a FOLKLIFE festival with the theme "Bread and Roses," after the Lawrence, MA strike that put corporations in their place and sparked a hot-time, with expression from people who do the world's work! Some great info on that strike __
